Off to a great start!

March 25th was planting day for my five tomato plants: Caspian Pink, Golden Jubilee, Pink Ping Pong, Prudens Purple, and Sweet 100.

By April 25th the Sweet 100 was just over 2-ft tall with multiple bracts of flowersÂone with seven set baby tomatoes. ThatÂs fruit set at 30-days. Ask me how I did this if youÂre curious. Update 4-29: Sweet 100 measures just under 3-ft tall.

Pink Ping Pong tops out at 2-ft tall with its bracts sporting unfurled flowers, upturned tips and very much pollinated. They will be emerging toms momentarily.

Ditto for the Caspian Pink. It put out an early bract that almost looks liked a mutation. I counted at least 21-flowers; leaves and flowers spread wide, tips upturned, knuckles thickening, signaling that they were pollinated.

Ditto for Golden Jubilee. It is a lush and gorgeous specimen with many flowering bracts.

Ditto for Prudens Purple. This Potato-leafed beauty is tall and robust, flowering bracts galore.

So far, so good! I have a hunch this will be a very productive garden.
