I agree 100% with your statement. I also like to see pictures of what all of you are growing. I will take a few more and post them.

I am very happy to see this new forum. In PR, they have lots of fruit that I never heard of before. I have a whole new world of fruit opened up to me! Of course, they have different names for the fruit, so I have to do some research to figure out what each one is. But I am having a ball going to all sorts of fairs and sales and buying fruit and trees. It is all new to me, and I am really getting in to it.
Sooner or later we will need an exchange forum......

Ohiojay: I agree, I love this forum too. I actually changed from checking Tropical Plants first to this one. I've found that about quite a few of the people in various forums too, but then there are all the nice ones I meet through here too. As for anyone that makes you feel unworthy; they aren't worth reading anyhow. :)

I love seeing the pictures as well, and I neeeeed to get a digital camera so I can post pics!

Yes, I went to Sadhu's this spring and got about 10 different saplings. The poor guy- I didn't know what I wanted, so he went through every tree he had available (and he had about 60 different types!) telling me what they tasted like. It was hard to get only 10! -

LOL, I know exactly what ya mean. I ordered a few trees from him last month, and just could not make up my mind. Not to mention the prices just are so good. What'd ya end up getting?

From what I remember I got from Sadhu:
Black sapote- diospyrus digyna
Peanut butter tree- bunchosia argentea
Bakupuri- Rheedia brazilian
Pitanga- eugenia uniflora
Anon
Caldeluda- eugenia tonentosa
Cherry Mangosteen- Garcia intermedia
Biribu- rollinia deliciosa
Canistel- pouteria campechia
but I think there were more.
I also have saplings growing of:
acerola- malpighia glabra
ice cream bean- inga ????
and fruiting mango, avecado, guanabana (soursop), papaya, grapefruit, bananas, tangerine, chironja, manderine orange, cainito and guava. I have seedlings of a number of fruit I have tried including tamarind, nispero, mamey, cherimoya, gooseberries, pineapples, and sugar apples.
Someday, I hope to be able to go out into my yard and pick breakfast everyday!
