Sugar Apple question

My oldest SA has fruited well this year, for the first time. It is at least 5 years old. I bought it at a Rare Fruit Council plant sale, and was not told the variety.

The fruits are very large compared to the other Sugar Apples I have, and have seen at the nurseries. Two I picked recently were softball-sized.

My question is: this fruit has a very strong odor and flavor of milk. I do not remember my fruit from last year (different trees) having an odor. The milky taste is strong, like heavily-sugared milk or cream. It really does not taste much like a fruit.

Does this indicate a named variety to anyone?

They are good when chilled, in my opinion, and my husband likes them. Every other person I have had taste it, hates the texture and flavor. But, those folks think good food only comes out of a box or fast food resturant. So I don't let it bother me(G).
