I saw some forsythia in bloom today in the Palmyra area.

My red flowering currant cuttings are budding out. My cannas are still putting out new blooms and I have some new blooms on my hibiscus.

I've got a late bloom cluster on my honeysuckle - the fragrance of summer, how heavenly! And, my sister's grape hyacinths are poking up, totally confused by our warm-cold-warm weather here in the Binghamton area. Go figure! But I'm making landscaping hay while the warmish sun shines, working on a stone retaining wall and terrace in my back yard, a project I've wanted to do for several years now. I'm almost done - hurray! Now if only I can finish the low retaining wall out front before the snow flies. . . .

My coral honeysuckle hasn't let up, some of my cannas are still going strong, my mom's hosta (a July bloomer) decided to bloom now, and I've got a black-eyed susan that decided to bud up. My roses haven't stopped blooming.

I have a daylily budding! I hope it stays warm enough for it to bloom. Perhaps we will skip winter this year :)

I like shimla's way of thinking! No snow, that would be great! I also have mini roses that won't give up and those of us up here in Northern Oneida Co. have had a handfull of killer frosts already! My prime roses are lovin' it too!
