These are the easiest tree to grow, you really don't need any advise on pomegrante, ...just put them in the ground, and wait ...

I had one in an over sized pot and for 3 years or so and it languished. The fruits I got were bitter and pale on the inside. In desperation I put it in the ground and nothing improved. So after around 4 years I pulled it out looking scrawney and unhappy.

I gave it great soil, fertilizer, well water and all of by other 20+ varieties of fruit I have do well so I can't say they are easy to grow. I'll say this though, they are attractive when flowering and have no pest problems.

i have 6 of them i grew from seed from a store bought fruit.
they are 3ft and under, but so far, they seem to be doing well.

what i found is you have 2 options in pruning them
either to grow them as a bush, or as a tree.

cut the lower branches if you want a tree.

you also may want to tip prune it the first three years

when small, they may need to be watered a bit, but they are fairly drought resistant (especially older ones) and like the ground to dry out a bit before watering.

full sun, or almost...

Got few cuttings from uncle's garden, put them in containers, and watered and fertilized, and they're bushing already.

Faster than anything I've tried so far, except Mango grown from seed for the first time.
