Has anyone tried growing purple sprouting broccoli? I bought some seeds and I'm going to give it a shot, but I thought I'd see if anyone had any advice for someone new to growing broccoli of any kind. Since it's a brassica I figure I'll probably have to build the Fort Knox of insect barriers to protect it, but hopefully it'll be worth it. I found the picture that's linked in an old thread somewhere else on Gardenweb.
