does anyone brew compost tea for their grass?

I brewed concentrated tea with one of those liquid fert dispensers you attach on your hose... but I was wonder if that dilutes the tea too much? Is it still effective if it's diluted like that? I dont' see any other way of giving tea to my grass unless I brew a whole mess of it and I don't have the means to that...
