The hutch that I remember was more like a potting shed outside. Does anyone remember who posted those pictures?

That is my set up. Wow, FooFoo's little set up is really getting around. It was linked on Jason's blog as well. I rarely come over hear much any more, glad I did.

Please, feel free to use the photos. As I mentioned in the linked topic, it is great to have people validate my idea. When I started explaining to my family what I wanted to set up they thought I was crazy. What's funny, is my Dad, who built the set up for me (after I sketch out what I wanted and how it needed to function), was the most supportive about the whole idea.

Next adventure - An outdoor version. Over this past weekend I purchased a used outdoor hutch, great deal. Bonus it is big enough for several bunnies, so we also adopted a second bunny, her name is Pearl.

When my kids were in 4H, our Washington State Extension service (which distributes the 4H publications) had a pamphlet on using worms to compost rabbit waste. It included plans for building bins under hutches, feeding the worms, etc. I tried to find it today, but my research time is somewhat limited right now. I suggest your readers check with their local extension services for any publications they may have, and while they are there, ask to check the 4H rabbit literature. 4H rabbit leaders may also have the information (ask the Extension office for their phone numbers).
