Yeah, that's the tough thing about a flow through. Unless you secure both top & bottom openings, those long-tailed critters can find a way in.

Three seems to be the grand total. A bit of peanut butter on the center of a sticky trap left the peanut butter 100% neatly gone and the stickey trap unmarked. They were well fed and it took the snappy trap. There appear to be no more in the celar. I had one stickey trap with peanut butter in the center of a 5 gallon bucket of rough sized harvested damp/dry vermicompost that had pumpkin seeds in from a lot of pumpkins. The mouse ate the peanut butter, grabbed seeds out of the vermicompost, tossing what it did not want onto the stickey trap. I am using this bucket of dry rough sifted material to cover additions to the flow through.
