My brother asked me about an area around his house and I am stumped for an answer.

He wants to trellis a perennial purple flowering vine that only get light morning sun and low water. It's under the overhang of the house.

Maybe it gets enough sun for clematis, other than that I can't think of anything.

I don't know why he always want to plant the same color flowering plants as the same color of the trim on the house, I prefer complimetary colors. i plan on giving him blue festuca, russell lupines and burgundy adjua for his ground underneath.

Any ideas?
