Keep those new worms in a lighted room for the next few days. They will not crawl in the light and as soon as they calm down they will settle in and start feeding.

They are likely going to need a little time to get used to their new environment. Food and bedding is probably different than they are used to and they may be looking for "home".

Just like sqhl said.. keep a light on them a few days and they will be fine.

Did you put anything else in your bin besides the bedding?

I just started a couple of weeks ago and my worms did the same thing for the first few days. They would climb the walls and sit in the crevices of the bin. I think I might have made it too moist. I put some shredded dry newspaper in there to help with the moisture and it seemed to calm down after that. Good luck with the whole thing, so far I haven't lost any worms.
