Harvested compost- keep it dry or wet?

I can never decide- Keep the harvested vermicompost dry to make it dry out more and get fluffy, or wet so that the cocoons will hatch quicker?

I've tried pulling cocoons out of the harvested VC but it's a long and tiring job.....

What does everyone else do?
