Blossom died

Hello,

I am a newbie gardener and have read that if the bloom on your tomato plant dies then it will not produce fruit. One of the blossoms on my Black Krim tomato plants have dried up and looks dead, however, after pruning the dead leaves off it is still growing. Is it possible for the plant to produce a new bloom? We had extreme temp changes and after that I noticed my blossom dried up. This plant is the only plant in my garden that I didn't start from seed. The others are doing great.
