Grass is ok. Be careful though as grass will heat up quickly. Try adding small amounts and be sure to only add it in one area so the worms have somewhere to escape.

I would think a very thin layer would work. You need to mix a small amount with a large amount of "brown" stuff to prevent heating. It's probably not worth your time. The best thing would be to mulch it onto the ground.
