You can but you don't have to.

If they are now in their final growing location and look to be doing well then IMO there is no need to remove blooms - the plant will likely drop them all on its own.

The leaves, assuming we are talking about only a few, can be removed if you wish, but usually they will die and fall off on their own if severely damaged.
