I got a package yesterday. YEAH!!! My first one. It was from Sue Kohler(skolher). I got some really great stuff. She sent Lily of the Valley, Coreopsis Summer Sun, Spiera, Geranium Springtime, A gorgeous windsock, a cookbook "Practical Chicken", calculator in a little small briefcase (it is just too cute), great desk top photo album, cat toy and treats for my Friskie Biscuit. She also sent the following to my children: 4 Fun Time activity books, washable markers, barbie doll, & a 100 piece puzzle.

She sent me a lovely note and mentioned that I hadn't said the ages of my children...their ages are 27, 24, & 22. Sue don't worry about the children things...my grandchildren just adore them. They are ages 8(girl), 2 years 10 months(boy) & 2 years 7 months(boy). They were so excited about getting the things out of the box. Thank you so much.

It was Christmas at my house today...I got 2 packages. the first one was from Daylilymom. She sent 2 rose cuttings (they still had blooms attached and smell sooo wonderful), An African Violet, Lavender Rose of Sharon cutting, some great smelling soap, lotions and foot lotion, 2 of the cutest windchimes, garden gloves (I can always use an extra set of these), 6 packs of seeds, and a cute little bear figurine. Thank you so much Sharon...I love it all!!!

My second box was from sguanzon. She sent a pillow that reads, "It's good to be Queen" (It really is. :), a huge bag of lace, rick rack, and all sorts of trimmings(this will come in handy when I am making all those Christmas decorations this winter), Flower Slide Care Chart, large packet of flower seeds, 4 beautiful polished tiger eye rocks, a great smelling Gardenia scented candle and 2 bear figurines. Thank you Sue.

I am really having a wonderful time this month. Thanks to all my GW friends.

I just found an email and I am in this swap. I didn't send a package last month to daylily mom cause email just got "lost" in emails. I will send package to her for last month and get one out for August's person this weekend. Sorry guys

Okay...I actually got this box on Thursday...and yes I opened it then, but have been busy.

This wonderful package came from MargeC. She sent Vintage, Floral & Romance..Miss Elizabeth's scrapbook pages, 2 different types of shape scissors (I didn't have these shapes either!), a great garden flower windmill (it is already in its new home), a memo gift set with a floral design, a writing journal with a floral motif(I'm going to use this one for my reflections of my teaching), a photo memo box(OK..I just realized what this is..call me slow. This is sooo cute), a wonderful double teddybear figurine holding a heart shaped crystal, and a beautiful oval shaped gift box full of seeds & bulbs.

I got another box today and oooohhh what a great one just like all the others. It was from snshndydrm.

I got: a Freesia body care set (bubble bath, body mist, lotion, shower gel,& polishing scrub), a gorgeous deluxe wind twister(it is copper and glass and it is sooooo beautiful), 2 different flavors of mints, and some Meow Mix catfood in the flavor seal pouches for my Friskie Biscuit(I know she will love these).

Thank you Mary Ellen for all these wonderful gifts. I just love them, especially the wind twister:).

No problem George. I do understand how time can get past us. It happens to me as well.

I am certain that anything you send will be just perfect.

Katrina did not do too much damage to me. Just a few downed limbs and plants toppled. I hope you do as well as I did if you are in her path. She has been a real destructive one.
