i've never....vermicomposted so...this quesiton might be silly.

i made a 4 by 4 compost bin a while back, i abandoned it, cuz i like using a free standing compost pile better.

anyway, i started putting straw and dog poop in the old bin. (i lay the straw down so the poop is easier to clean up...)

the pile never gets hot, which is fine, i don't fool w/ it, but if i add worms to it, will the thrive?
