Please help my daughter and I identify a climbing vine. It has tendrils.There are 5 small oval, smooth edged leaves eminating from one point. The flowers are small, deep purple. At this point in the season they start as small barrellike pods, open with three leaves uncurling leaving three small rice-shaped pods in the center. (We are watching to see if these open up later).

We moved to this farmette in carroll County, Md and are trying to identify some of the plants we've inherited.
