Either way is fine. If you put in too much at once, it will heat up though.

Hi All! I have used oatmeal as a food supplement for all types of worms. I use it uncooked and sprinkle it either flaked or powdered ustng a grated cheese shaker. a light covering is all that is needed to boost the protein level in the food. The worms take it in directly so use it sparingly.
