I have recently been interested in finding a Mucuna bennetii for sale. About 12 years ago I purchased some seeds from the tropical rainforest seed company (don't think this is still around)which were sold in the discovery channel store in the mall. They sprouted for me and grew so fast I had to plant it outside. Almost immediately after I did, the plant died. A few years later I found a seed on the beach here that looked exactly like the seeds of Mucuna bennetii I had gotten, but when I germinated it, it wasn't(some other mucuna species?). I checked Logee's website and it doesn't look like they carry it anymore, and Searle bros isn't open to the public. Thank you in advance for any info. Also is Mucuna bennetii considered a liana?
