A few weeks ago, a friend approached me after church. "You're into gardening, right?" "uh,yeah..."

Seems he and his wife owned a Wriggly Wranch but they had been negligent with it and wanted to give it to me. I got all excited and told him about my bins and how easy it was to create the best fertilizer for plants. At the end of the conversation, he said he'd figure out how to drop it off at my place.

A couple weeks passed by and no worm bin. He caught me after church again. "I guess we're keeping the bin." Turns out that he collected some of the castings out of the bin and put it on some of his house and garden plants. They took off. The wife said, "I guess it was the worm compost, huh?"

I don't know whether to be happy because I actually made a convert to vermicomposting or sad because I talked myself out of a free Wriggly Wranch.
