Weird Cocoon

i have had a worm factory up and running for a few months now, and recently, when i have dug down to bury food, i have come across these weird "cocoon" looking things. im not sure what it is exactly, so any help would be greatly appreciated. it is brownish and has the texture, and shape for that matter, of half of a soft-gel pill. (like an advil)

-thanks for your time

I am no expert. But it looks like Maggot cocoons. When maggots turn into flies they turn into those kind of cocoons and then hatch into flies

oh, i see. do you think i should be worried about them, or should i just wait for them to turn into flys and let them fly away?

not sure they're fly, but they are a pupal stage of something, and whichever, they shouldn't be there, especially in a small bin indoors - could be any type of flying insect, probably imported on some fruit or veg scrap ... I'd chuck'em

I think that they are roach eggs. Stick them in a jar and see what hatchs.

I thought those weird red eggs were worm cocoons. I found them in a pile of manure I collected. Now I have a bunch of them in my worm bin :(
