Hey all

I know blossom drop is just that, when they die and drop, but I'm wondering if what my Brandywine is doing is simply blossom drop, or something different.

Its definetely dropping blossoms, but they seem to be breaking right where the blossom stem has its "joint". That angled part of the stem a little above the actual blossom. Is this normal blossom drop?

We had a week of 100+ degree days a couple weeks ago, followed by upper 60's for the next week with nigts getting down to 50, so I'm not surprised I'm getting some blossom drop.
