Aren't pickles high in salt? I wouldn't put anything with salt in it in the worm bin.

no salt in these, basic it is vinager, water and a bit of garlic over sliced cucumbers.

I think a small amount would be fine but I would not place a whole jar in at once. I would also try to remove as much of the pickle juice as possible, chop it up and bury in the bedding. Check on it in a week and see if any worms are in that area.

Go with Mr Ed, I wouldn't use the pickle juice. The cucs could go in whole but the pickling process inhibits the decomposition process, making the time for them to get to the point where compost worms will help break them down longer. Cutting them up should help things go a little quicker.
