I'm looking for plants for 4 identical containers (which hide my trash bins) for zone 9 (San Jose, CA 95112). They need to be:

-EVERGREEN except when pruned

-happy with 1' x 1' x 3' of soil

-needing a good bit of sun, about 3 (winter) - 6 (summer) hrs a day midday, and loads of bright sunlight

-either climbing on the attached 3x3.5' trellises or upright and not too bushy, or prunable

-no allergens (I'm highly allergic to star jasmine and olive)

-optionally blooming (wonderful but optional)

I already have loads of pink jasmine polyanthus, corkscrew vine, and Carolina jessamine.
