I'm ba-a-ack!!

It's been a long go-around, but I'm finally back up and running. Cancer is GONE, God is GOOD!!!!!!! I'm still not 100% but getting a little stronger every day. I was able to weed our 10' X 10' cherry tomato patch this afternoon and only had to stop a couple of times to catch my breath. YAY! So, what's been happening to everyone while I was away?

Here's my tomato list this year:

Slicers:

Estler's Mortgage Lifters - that's a given!

Earl of Edgecomb

Red Oxheart

Yellow Oxheart

German Red Strawberry

Mixed Heirloom - we won't know what we've got until we get tomatoes

Cherries:

Dr. Caro Pink

Ildi

Orange Peruche

Chocolate Cherry

Cupid Grape

Green Grape

We have tomatoes on the ML's and some of the Mixed Heirlooms in the big garden and every cherry plant except the Green Grape has tomatoes. Hopefully the GG won't be long in following suit; we've never grown them before, are they usually a "late bloomer"? And my goodness, those Ildi's are going to be regular tomato factories if the early blossoming is anything to go by!!

We thought we were going to lose most of the plants a few weeks ago; it rained and it rained and the poor things were standing in several inches of water; hubby went out and dug drainage ditches to the sides of the garden, which helped, but they sure looked awful for a while. However, we only lost 1, and the rest are looking good, so I'm much relieved.

Anyway, I missed you guys and hoped the season was starting well for everyone.

Edie
