Every morning I shoo away a young squirrel who is relentless feeding. WHen I inspected him more closely today, I noticed he is missing his right paw and a tail. He is not afraid of me at all, and when I felt bad and threw him some peanuts, he did not even flinch.

His stub seems healed but I feel bad for him because other squirrels bully him. Also, what are the chances that he could be rabid. I am trying to keep my distance.
