I just inherited a vegetable garden bed totally covered in false garlic. Spent a couple of days tilling & hand pulling it, but I know there are still seeds and tiny bulbs lurking. I have a clean slate now, so before I plant my spring crops, I am wondering what to do. Should I water well and give the weeds a couple of weeks to sprout and then pull again or ???? Would that be a good strategy with false garlic? Oh, and I don't want to use herbicide. Going organic:) Would appreciate any suggestions.
