That does not look like Poison Ivy to me, more like Virginia Creeper which is often mistaken for Poison Ivy.

Looked up Virginia Creeper, that has 5 leaves. This plant all had 3 leaves.

That's PI. Be careful when you remove it. The oils in the plant can persist on your tools, gloves, etc.

Yes, PI. If you use an herbcide be sure to spray the UNDERSIDE of the leaves to maximize the effect. If you dig roots and pull it, do as rhizo says and wash your tools and gloves; the oils persist.
