It's definitely something in the Boraginaceae family. Common garden plants in that family are Comfrey and Borage, Virginia Stickseed is a common weed in that family. If none of those plants ring a bell, you could get a picture of the flowers that would help narrow it down a bit.

Thanks Jeanne for the quick reply. There are no flowers on this plant. The flowers you see in the picture are from another plant. The plant that I think as a weed is the big green plant in the middle of the picture. The plant just keeps getting bigger and bigger has no buds and shows no signs of flowering. Can anyone ID this as a weed?

Somewhat resembles ironweed (vernonia baldwinii).

If so it will grow much taller and bloom nearer to fall - September here in Texas
