Good luck!! I've been pulling and fight this for years. I am not winnning. Round up does work (if you are inclined to use chemicals), but it loves to place itself where round up is not even a possible solution.

That weed is the least of my problems now. I am faced with the possibility of replacing the lawn because of other weed issues...or resign myself to having a crappy looking lawn, forever.

Also known as Yellow Wood Sorrel and is a very prolific seed producer so the plants you sprayed yesterday may die but newly produced seeds will grow more. This plant seems to really like the growing conditions in my Lavender bed because I can pull them from there weekly but they do not grow in the Russian Sage bed, go figure.

Maybe the sage gives off a chemical that keeps it away. I read about a plant that did that and it prevented other plants from growing near it. I cannot remember which plant that was now, but it was an interesting article. My Russian Sage was over run by stilt grass this year. Maybe it just keeps wood sorrel away. Come to think of it, there wasn't any wood sorrel there when I weeded out the grass. Hmmmm. Some one / some company has made a weed preventor from the chemical that plant gave out, but I cannot remember the name of it either. Maybe someone else knows.

how funny i love this weed it so pretty and will grow where nothing else will so im happy to have it in my garden😍. whenever it gets a bit too large between the paving stones, I just trim it back with the hedge clippers. but if u r trying to get rid of it I would suggest putting a bag over it whilst u pull it out because one little flick of this plant and seeds fly right left and centre- u have probably felt the little "knits" flying off? if u cant beat it, learn to love it- bees do:)

I have this plant surviving in almost full shade under a red oak tree. Nothing else seems to grow there. I love it as it keeps the dirt down. Can I get seed somewhere?
