I recently seeded a new yard in Buffalo grass. before doing that, I treated twice with roundup, and then tilled twice. The grass took about 2-3 weeks to really start germinating, and in that time bindweed came up throughout the whole yard. I have hand pulled twice, taking about 20 hours each time. Does anyone have any ideas for eradicating bindweed in a newly germinating lawn? I can get any chemical I need, but I can't think of anything that wouldn't damage the new seedlings. Perhaps in the fall or early next spring?
