Hello All! I am new to this website, as well as new to gardening! Last year was the first year in my first house and I decided to take on growing a vegetable garden. I had cherry tomatoes, beefsteaks, cucumbers, peppers, and string beans. I was surprised at how well everything did for my first year, especially since I started the seeds indoors, rather than buying the plants.

This year, when I went to lant all of my babies, I noticed a few things growing in the beds. Some were obviously weeds but others were questionable. We, in NY, had a very warm winter this year, so I heard its possible for some vegetables to come back if the seeds had fallen. I left the questionable plants to keep an eye on them. And once again, more became obvious that they were weeds. I had quite a few that I thought were possibly cherry tomatoes coming back but I just don't know anymore. I don't want to pull all of them (about 5) if they aren't weeds. What concerns me is that everything else I am growing is now begining to bare fruit and these are not. They do not have spikey leaves or any reddish color in the stems (what I usually go by for determining what is a weed)...

Can anyone help me!! I have tried researching online and cannot find an exact match. If they are indeed WEEDS, I want to get them out immediately before they kill my other plants and prevent them from flourishing.
