Bunnies, bunnies, everywhere........

20 years ago

Are the rest of you seeing alot of bunnies this year? I can't believe it. I went to close up my chickens tonight, and there were at least 10 bunnies in the yard! (There are tons of acorns forming too.)

We haven't seen this many bunnies for about 15 years. I wonder what this means......fewer coyotes and foxes? It's really amazing. Good thing my garden has a fence.

Madison, where I live, has a network of bike paths, and many of these are bordered by tall grasses and shrubs, perfect habitat for rabbits. I often see them grazing in the short grass, next to the path, either in the early morning or the evening. We seem to have quite a few this year, but then again, we seem to have quite a few every year...
