It strongly resembles knotweed but I'm not sure. The link below has pics of the leaves of different knotweed.

the leaves in the forefront look like a red bud, a weed here in Michigan to be sure, but also a rather nice tree.

The one that looks like redbud is a vining legume.

I have a weed that I have had a fight with for the past 4 yrs. It is a green, upright grower, with thorns or stickers all over the plant. The leaves are wide with thorns on the tips. The leaves are jagged in shape & look somewhat like dandilion leaves. I have pulled some that were 3' tall. ANY POINTERS ON GETTING RID OF THIS WEED WILL TRULY BE USEFUL & THANKFUL ON RECEIVING THE POINTER!!

shayloco, it sounds like a thistle.

The easiest & cheapest way I've found to get rid of those, since they're so big, is to put on heavy gloves & use a garden fork to uproot the plants.

I vote for redbud. I have that growing all over my yard and it looks the same to me. I have a redbud in my front yard and the seeds scatter to the back. If you have a redbud in the vicinity that's what it is.
