I have these two weeds growing in my lawn and they don't seem to match any of the photos I have seen on other web sites. The one with the clove-like leaves makes the lawn look brown because the leaves turn from green to a reddish brown color. the other, with the long paddle looking leaves are also spread out over the lawn. they both have very tiny leaves and are very low to the ground. Way under mower blade height. Sorry if this is more of a lawn question than a gharden question, but I figure garders would be more likely to identify plants than anyone else.
