we have an antiques site on ebay. Mags would be easy to do - just list them as a buy it now price for whatever you can get and if someone wants more they can contact you and negotiate that way. You can also set up an ebay store for 15 / month . You have very low (like 3c or 10 c per item) , very low cost as compared to the auctions which are around 70c, but you pay a higher backend fee in the store setup. It is easy enough to set up a store. Mags would all go out media mmail, I assume , so it would be pretty easy to do - you wouldn't have to write up listings or do a lot of photography or spend a lot of time / money wrapping. But if you're talking about 40 mags for $2 bucks each, you might well find better things to do with your time and just put them on as a "lot" and be done with it.d

You might try Craig's list as well. See if a local person wants to buy them. If so then they pick them up, no mailing or setting up on ebay to do. Craig's List is free to use.

EBAY... I've heard it described as a communist entity.. telling you how to pay.. you must offer their paypal.. and small auctions cost over 12-14% once all the fees are paid.

I sometimes buy on ebay, because it's less expensive (for some things), but after they took $350 out of my checking account (in their terms & conditions) because a buyer told them he didn't get the item I sent & even though I had insurance with a copy of his signature, they told me that it was not "proof of delivery" & didn't prove that he got it, I refused to use them again.

I'd go with Cl, but that's only local, so be sure to list on all the biggest cities in your general area.
