Mosquito larvae are totally aquatic and will die where you dumped them.

Those larvae are now organic fertlizer. Not to worry.

larvaes doesn't need water to survive..they will hatch.

I mixed mosquito dunks n white vinegar in standing fish tank outside that got infested while I was in hospital. Is this safe together? Non toxic? After 24 hours where do I dump the dead mosquitos? In the garden????? Please answer this ASAP thank u. Need to know that white vinegar n dunks aren't toxic when mixed together. Thank you!

Been using a couple old mixing buckets for mosquito's to lay eggs in.... Every 3 days or so empty the water through a sieve with a cloth inside to filter out the lava, even the small ones. Noticed today the there was at least one remaining in the bucket (still has some residue from tiling material etc..) so I dried it in the sun and found loads of the little things wriggling around which survived for over an hour without water. After the bucket had dired out in the sun, left it upside down for a while and found a pool of the little things wriggling around on the ground. You need to re-use the water so normally emptied this straight back into the bucket. Will take more care in future to ensure no lava survive.

, if you dumped your buckets out on something warm or hot which will evaporate the water quickly then you won the battle they'll die but if you dump them in a moist area that holds water you might have some live and then you have best friends in the garden

I doubt you really have to save the bucket water. while i understand a chemical is released encouraging egg laying, the f*ckers didnt seem to mind it not being there the first time. i just emptied an infested bucket trap on the hot street. no doubt, as it was reset, ill have another 1000 dead re-enforcements in 10 days. key here is make sure you have something floating on the surface for them to land on, like a small piece of plastic sheet. i also take out adults with a handheld bug zapper. they are especially easy targets around the trap as they love water.
