Probably any nursery in another month or so. I work at a nursery in Austin and we'll be getting them in mid September.

You should call first as for some reason many don't offer plants for fall planting. Why don't you just plant them you will get a much better choice then the nurseries will provide. You can start them in pots and transplant them if that is what you want to do. I like butter Crunch lettuce for their flavor if you want to start them now they will need extra care until it cools down also or just plant them when it cools down. Most root plants-seeds should go into the ground as soon as it cools off.

I saw cabbage plants this weekend at Wabash Antiques and Feed Store. They also had some tomato, broccoli, collards and pepper plants. Quality Feed also had some fall veggies this weekend. I think they were just getting ramped up for the fall and sounded like they would have a lot more in September. I also really like Buchanan's Native Plants for veggie plants. Probably best to call them for what you're looking for. Sometimes they can sell out quick.
