finale from NJ

today was it for the off site garden-

first a wet, cold rainy spring. Then the stirrings of LB. Followed by crazy hail and damaging winds causing a huge 25 ft branch to crash down on the fence. Between the branch and the storm most of 50 toms where wiped out and the winds took all the corn. Then today I went to check on the remaining few plants only to be met by a deer standing in the middle of the last of them having dinner!! How she got around all the branchs and twigs and the rest of the fence, i'll never know.I do have a few plants at home that are going to taste even sweeter (how i wish i had planted a few more home instead of there)

Thanks for letting me vent! I'm following you all daily here on the forum and planning next year (now that the darn branch is gone :)
