Supposedly every living thing has a purpose..not sure what the tic's would be other than to drive us crazy..

I live in an area that is very infested..picked 13 off my dogs a few hours ago after our walk..and I had put a tic spray on them..plus they get it by mouth to kill any that I would miss and bite them...

According to my vet..89% of all the dogs in my area test positive for the lymes antiboy..in dogs that only means that they have been exposed..not infected..

I don't hate much..but I hate ticks

I hear tell WD-40 rubbed on the extremeties is good for chiggers, don't know about ticks. I bailed on a camping trip when I found two ticks crawling up my leg in my tent. Can't stand em.
