Identifying weird white bugs
Hello,
My daughter found a lot of those white bugs on some bushes close to our home in San Jose, California. The bugs are about 5-6 mm long.
A couple extra pictures from different viewpoints:

A lot of googling for "weird white bugs", "white and brown larvae", etc. was not successful (as you could probably guess). Any clues what this might be?
Regards,
- Alex
