Please Help:

My 10lb dog takes Triflexis monthly for heartworm & fleas. I took him to the groomer. Cleaned/Shampooed carpets while he was gone. Took him for a walk and when he came home I noticed a small dark bug on his stomach. Immediately gave him a Capstar.

Assumed all was well - although occasionally would see a small dark moth like bug flying around. The dog was getting so neurotic that all he would do is sit on the couch and stare up at the ceiling back and forth. I was getting mad at him.

Cleaned again and before bringing him inside combed him. Nothing. Then checked the anus. Had to pull it apart a little and saw a bunch of thin like moving creatures and one of the same brown bugs almost formed. Called vet. Put a Frontline Plus on him. Two days later caught the same bug crawling around the area Frontline was applied.

I have been bit myself. BUT when putting the bug up to a jewelers loop it is not a bed bug and the only thing it or I think it resembles is a Human Flea.

WHAT DO I DO? I have poor health and am not to be around anything that would compromise my health or immune system. I have never been so perplexed or scared in my life.
