Come on guys, I really need you're help here, I can't spend a lot of money. This are some of the things I would like to see in my new bathroom, For sure would love the two mirrors with medicine cabinets behind and a window between the two mirrors to bring in more light, love the stank alone tube, we lost a window with an addition room behind our tub, so the other window on the left of the tub will be larger, we also added a skylight that opens, I also like the look of drawers under the sink area and also need 2 rows of 3 set drawers for our individual things, like the faucet on the wall and would love a cubby on ea side for my husbands shaver, toothpaste and so on, like the look of a floating cabinet. OMG There is so much that I love, but it all depends on $$$$$$

But I really think I would go with dark cabinets, dark mirrors, light granite and light travertine floors, I have hardwood floors in my bedroom now and love it

If you like the look of hardwood & want practicality, you could look into porcelin tile that looks like hardwood. I used a product like this in one of my bathrooms.

Love that look, but what I was saying, is that with wood in the room and dark wood on the cabinets in the master, I wouldn't want any more dark color, this is why I would do travertine and also because it doesn't require hardly any grout, that I love! Thanks for the comment

where do you live? do you have a habitat store or Second Use near by - like in Seattle?? there you may be able to find some of the pieces you are looking for as well as granite remnants for a new countertop....how about Ikea? they have some great sink/counter combos that you could do individual sinks and create a lower storage type unit between the two.

Thank you for the ideas, I'm in Yorba Linda California, as you can see our bathroom, I need more storage, not less. Eventually will be able to do our bathroom, the rest of the home has been remodeled with good products, ikea may be better priced but not my taste. Good suggestions though, thanks

Based on the amount of space you have you could probably do two separate single vanities with sink & one of the two tall bath cabinets in between. As you are looking for a dark cabinet color, I would go with their Brown Oak or black oak. If you went with the countertops they can supply, the crema counter tops will match the travertine perfectly. RH pre seals, so you should not have to worry about etching etc as long as you maintain with sealant (which is pretty easy)

Using vanities that look like pieces of furniture should help in making the room quite warm

I recently purchased a large double sink french casement vanity from RH at 20% off during their friends and family event. I am doing this vanity in a bath with Carrera floors but using pure white quartz for the countertop.

That sounds beautiful, but I hear that quartz is very resistant to stains, I might look into something like that to, I love the look of one long cabinet, off the floor, we will be adding to the length another 18" and with a stand alone tub should look nice and open. I will go to the sight. Thanks

How about eliminating that big mirror, instead use 2 single mirrors over the sinks with a sconce or something interesting on the wall between them. The wall over the tub could handle a sizeable painting
and add some color with towels and cushy rugs or an oriental runner down the middle of the room.

Quartz is completely resistant to stains (completely non porous with no issues with etching) & has been my solid surface of choice as of late. If you want movement & a look close to natural stone check out Cambria:

Cost wise, Quartz is more expensive than lower end smudgy/peppery granite while cheaper than more exotic granite that tends to have geode like characteristics

You can also use quartz for shower walls if you want a grout free seamless look.....but can easily blow the budget up......

All great ideas, I already was doing double mirrors, hate the large mirror, I'm doing a narow window in the center of the mirros to bring in more natural light. Love the no grout, so I will definately check the quartz out. Thanks again
