Instead of us moving we ended up doing a very big remodeling, from taking out the kitchen completely, adding another room and bathroom, opening the stairs, OMG the list goes on and on, changing doors to windows and window to double doors, we spend around $350,000. I was so worth it, we would do it again, I love siting down in the living room and take it all in, we are now finished with painting inside and out and all the baseboards are done and we also painted the ceiling in the kitchen and family room a pale green that matches the walls in that space and did crown moulding, it looks fresh and gives you since of serenity, love it, will post pictures. I am wanting to do the same thing, have a bay window in the dining room removed and replaced with french doors and a deck so there is access from the home to the backyard. Can you estimate the cost of just that portion of your renovation? Thank you it looks stunning!

Sorry, it's been a long time since done and a lot was done under a one figure, but if your just doing that, you could get it done for around $2,000. Check around

With your arches and beautiful features possibly a neutral rug like this? To me rug pattern should be large enough / different enough from what pattern is in your chairs.

I was thinking more like this, I would like a little color, but not to busy. In a mustered yellow or a reddish burgundy
