Under $3k. Bosch vs. Bertazzoni

We're in the process of replacing our slowly dying Amana wall oven and cooktop combo, and we've decided to do some minor construction to make way for a slide-in or free standing range in their place. We're looking to spend somewhere in the $2500-$3k range, and we like the pro-style ranges that we've seen. Our initial thought was to get the 30-inch dual-fuel Bosch Integra 700 series, which prices out around $2500, but after reading these forums for the past few days, I've seen a lot about the 30-inch Bertazzoni gas range, which admittedly is pretty fantastic looking and falls into the same price category.

However, I've also seen a number of concerns raised. Small oven, "quirky" starting, excessive heat from the front, etc. I don't have preference regarding electric vs. gas ovens, and after the number of times I've had to replace the electronics modules in my current electric oven, I like the idea of a more minimalist setup. We do a lot of cooking, and the majority of our oven use is for roasting, braising, and pizza making. Those with Bertazzoni's seem to love them, but would we be giving up anything by buying one over the Bosch? What are we gaining, other than stunning good looks? Any experience or advice is appreciated!

I'm interested in a variation of the the same choices. Have you considered the Captial Precision GCR304? I use the AJ Madison site for research (and in no way endorse or are affiliated with them) but they list it at $2999. I lean toward the Bosch b/c I can buy it locally and the oven has more usable space.
I've tried a similar question before on this forum with little response.

We have the all electric version of the Bosch Integra and have been using it for about six months. Very happy with it. I really can't comment on the Bertazzoni because it one we considered. We're very happy with the Bosch. The convection fan is not at all annoying or loud. The range is very well built and controls are straight forward. We went back and forth on gas versus electric but we've always had electric and smooth tops are easier to keep clean than gas if they are black. That is another reason we chose the Bosch. The only negative and it shouldn't be an issue if you go with dual fuel is the front metal edge of the cooktop which is part of the piece that houses the controls. With the smoothtop, if you happen to drag a pan across it as you take the pan off of the burner, it will scratch, not badly but noticeable. Now that we're conscious of it, we're more careful and I think the scratches will buff out but it is something to be aware of.

After checking out the Bertazzoni at the local appliance store, another range in the same price range also jumped out at me: the Electrolux Icon 30 inch gas range. It looks nice and solid and sturdy, nice big oven, beautiful sliding grates, and powerful burners. Anyone have good or bad things to say about this one? I didn't like the controls on the Bosch as much, and I think I've decided that all gas is my preference. The search continues!

Electrolux E30GF74HPS Is this the model you are looking at? This is the one with the continuous grates. Not sure if the Icon is like the regular Electrolux but some on the forum say they are just fancy Frigidaires. I don't know what to think, so my search continues too.
Anyway, this post will bump this thread back to page 1.

Yes, this is one that I looked at. I must say, it's impressive looking. It seems to give better performance, a few more features, and a larger oven than the Berta. Definitely a consideration. I've also been looking at the BlueStar RCS 30-inch. A little more money, but wow.
