To Fratelli owners- how does the range work for low simmering? The 20 +-year old Frigidaire that came with my home burns chili and soup unless I stir very frequently. I'm looking for a good 36" range that will simmer without burning, is reliable, and made by a responsive company. I would prefer to have a self-cleaning range and a color rather than stainless, but the other criteria is more important to me. I prefer the price to be under $4,000, but can go higher for the perfect range and company. I posted this question first in response to another Fratelli thread, but realized that one may not be seen.
