Are you wanting to keep the existing finishes or are you open to painting them?

I hope the color and design mavens will weigh in to help you. I'm not one of the mavens but I too have a honey oak color vanity and trim in the guest bath that we're redoing at the moment. As wi-sailorgirl says, if you're willing to paint or change the stain, you have alot more choices.

But if you don't want to change the stain, which is where I'm at, then FWIW to help the vanity look like it wasn't a leftover, I'm trying two things. 1) keeping yellow/golden tones/undertones in the color scheme and 2) looking at all samples in the bathroom because it has no natural (and very little un-natural!) light so the colors change drastically.

what you choose also depends on more info than you've given, such as is the rest of your house a certain style (ranch, Victorian, bungalow?), what's *your* preferred style (contemporary, cottage, traditional?), are you looking to re-sell soon? etc.
