Double oven range

I have found several freestanding ranges with two ovens, one about 2.0-2.2 cu ft and the other 4.0-4.4, depending on the brand, all with ceramic glass tops. Does anyone have experience with these, positive or negative? It's for a new house, so I could go with single oven range plus single wall oven, but it looks like this would save several hundred $$s.

I have the Maytag Gemini, which is essentially the same as the dual fuel Jennair except it's all gas. I am quite pleased with it for the most part, but two things that bug me are the burner configuration is tight because the controls take up some space on the cooktop, and the broiler is fairly useless. Generally it isn't a problem for me since we grill outside and I rarely need all four burners.

I love the power burner, the triple-rack convection oven and the quick-heating upper oven. I'd say we use the upper oven 80-90% of the time. The exception is when I bake, I use the convection and usually need all three racks on the lower oven. I liked that the upper oven is an actual oven, not just a glorified warming drawer, and the location makes it very convenient. Other double oven ranges have the smaller oven on the bottom which I would find tedious.

This is a 30" range, which was my requirement. There are larger 40" and up ranges that have side by side ovens.

I am looking for all electric, glass ceramic cooktop with five hotspots and/or bridge, one full size oven (4.0 cu ft or larger)and one smaller oven, stainless steel and black colors. My starting thought was double wall oven and cooktop on a counter or island. After pricing what's out there, it appears I can get the same functionality much cheaper with either a range and single wall oven, or now, a double oven range. The range could be freestanding, dropin, or slide in. The house is barely started, with the first course of logs just laid down at my loggers' yard, and the foundation not yet complete nor even able to be worked on (still below zero in Fairbanks Alaska). So I have time and lots of flexibility still, but will need to decide where vents go before long. Bottom line, I'd like to get the cooking appliance costs under $3000, and under $2000 if I can. I need to get the total cost of the house down.
