IKEA induction cookware?

We are going to IKEA tomorrow! Have never been before (it is not very nearby). Since this forum has convinced us to go with an induction cooktop, and the magnet test indicates almost all my pans will be kaput, I checked and IKEA does have a number of lines which they say are "suitable" for induction. And they are a lot less expensive than other options (as much as I love the Demeyere and All-Clad stainless). Anyone out there using the IKEA 365+, FAVORIT, or other IKEA cookware lines on their induction cooktops?

I've seen it, but have not paid it much attention. Try the cookware section, you'll have to do a post, not much came up when I did a search, but if you scroll down, you'll see that 'fori' likes them.

Here is a link that might be useful: cookware forum, results of search

I have a few of the IKEA induction compatible pots. I do not like them. I wasn't ready to spend$$$ on new cookware, so I thought I would try a few pots form a few different brads to se what I like. I know most people like the good stuff, but I bought a whole set of new Revere ware Millenium cookware and love it. I cooks evenly and cleans up beautifully. I also like the handles and lids.
I really do not like the cleanup on my Ikea cookware and it seems to sometimes leave hotspots while cooking.
    HTH.

Thanks! My, my, IKEA on a Saturday is a circus! Looked at their magnetic pans. There are several lines, the 365+, and some with unpronounceable Swedish names (I guess, unless you are a Swede). The handles, etc. are spot welded, not riveted, and none were very heavy. Based on that and the feedback here, we've decided to spend more money and buy quality. Thanks for your help!

I have some of the Ikea cookware. I find it all very suitable for my needs. I have both the 365 and the Favorit. The latter is better quality with thicker base, so I use it for sauces, etc. The 365+ is fine for most purposes. I have pots and a few saute pans.

I've been pleased with it so far. It's easy case, DW safe.

I would venture to say most people would find it more than adequate.

I just got an IKEA 365+ 11 quart stockpot and tried it with my Frigidaire induction cooktop and was very pleased with the results.

I tested it by boiling water and the bubble pattern was very evenly distributed.

I liked the design: comfortable handles, no dribble pouring lip.

Some may criticize it for being light weight but my wife and mother can't handle the heavy stuff. As long as the heat is distributed evenly (and the boiling water test proves it is), the pot performs its function.

I also prefer the welded handles, easier to clean than rivets. My car is welded together and you never hear of cars falling apart because of the welds.

I fried 4 crabcakes in it and they came out perfectly. Another proof of even heat.
